Juicy Game Of life
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Conways game of life!
Sorry I couldn't upload as a web version -- some of the packages I used don't like to render in HTML
Left click to place cells, right click to remove them.
After you place down some cells, make sure you click on the "Play" button to step through the simulation - that's the fun part!
The (only) rules of the simulation:
If a cell has 1 or fewer neighbors, it dies (as if from loneliness)
If a cell has 4 or more neighbors, it dies (as if from overpopulation)
If a cell has exactly 3 neighbors, it becomes alive (as if from reproduction)
All of the pretty patterns arise from just these couple of rules!

This was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed making patterns with the cells, and the music complemented the calm and relaxing gameplay perfectly.
Thank you! Love blue dot sessions
lovely! I would've liked an autoplay function and maybe the colour of the blocks responding to the # of neighbours but other than that awesome and smart like always!
Oooh good ideas :) Thanks Daichi!
